DENİB Participates in the 11th Turkmenistan Turkish Export Products Fair
Denizli Exporters Association (DENİB) is participating in the 11th Turkmenistan Turkish Export Products Fair, held in Ashgabat from December 4-6, 2024, with an info stand.
Commenting on the fair, which will run for three days, DENİB President Hüseyin Memişoğlu said:
“We are present at the 11th Turkmenistan Turkish Export Products Fair with our DENİB info stand, an event that holds significance not only for Turkmenistan but for all of Central Asia. With the sectoral diversity that characterizes Denizli's exports, we continue to represent Denizli in every corner of the world.
There is one month left until the end of 2024, and Denizli's export figures for the first 11 months have exceeded $4 billion, marking a 5% increase. To sustain and grow our exports, we must maintain our competitive strength in existing markets and increase our market diversification.
For this reason, we actively participate in fairs held worldwide and encourage our members to join these events.
In 2023, Denizli exported $5.3 million worth of goods to Turkmenistan. In the January-November 2024 period, exports from Denizli to Turkmenistan amounted to $2.8 million.
The machinery and components sector accounts for 35% of Denizli's exports to Turkmenistan, followed by the chemicals sector with 30%, iron and non-iron metals with 21%, and the electrical-electronics sector with an 8% share.
When we evaluate our exports to Turkmenistan by product, items such as agricultural and forestry machinery, braided copper cables, adhesives, lifting machinery, and cables stand out. Additionally, we have significant potential in egg exports and processed marble.
I wish the 11th Turkmenistan Turkish Export Products Fair, now in its 11th year, to be beneficial and productive for all participants.”
